We fished the Mustang Island surf (near Port Aransas, beach marker #24) from 11:00AM – 3:00PM. It was a sunny day, with winds 13-17 knots out of the ESE. Water was a dirty green and rough/choppy, with waves in the 2-3′ range. Caught a couple of small hardheads, but no other bites. No bites from gamefish or keeper fish of any type, including whiting.
