We fished the Padre Island surf (Kleberg County beach, north of PINS) from 2:30PM – 5:00PM. It was a sunny day, winds about 10 knots out of the ENE, with beautiful clear/greenish water and small waves. Caught several whiting and one skipjack with dead shrimp on the inshore rods. I used cut whiting for bait on the surf rod, but did not get any bites. I also did not see any other fisherman along that stretch of beach catching any fish.
