I fished the Port Aransas South Jetty from 14:00 – 17:30. I walked the entire length of the South Jetty, and fished both the channel and surf side. No fish caught other than two hardheads (caught on dead shrimp) on the channel side near the tip. The wind was out of the East from 9-15 knots, gusting to 17 knots, and water was a dirty green and choppy. Current was outgoing. There were a handful of other fishermen on the jetty but I did not see anyone catch fish.
Baits used:
- Silver spoon (2 oz)
- Dead shrimp (preserved)
- Cut mullet (preserved)
Have a reel good day,
